Boxtor recently delivered 12 x new (1 trip) 20ft dark green shipping containers to a new self-storage site in the southern home county of Hampshire. The new containers supplied were all ‘self storage spec’ units, with 12 vents for maximum airflow, 3 locking bar ‘easy open’ door handles and slimline lockboxes. The RAL 6007 dark green paint helps the units to blend into the surrounding countryside. The site had extensive groundworks carried out to ensure the units were placed on level, hard standing ground. All units were placed on concrete blocks at each end to ensure the units were raised above the ground to maximise the flow of air through the containers when storing goods within.
The units will have electricity hook ups once the site has been finished to allow customers to have power connection inside the container for their customers. We delivered 10 x units over 2 days, with the final pair following a week after. All units were craned off using wagon and drag HIAB truck and placed in a line on both sides.
