We recently delivered the first 2 x 20’ 1 trip (NEW) RAL 6007 dark green shipping containers to a farm site in Northamptonshire.
Our customer ordered the new 20ft three locking bar container type with 12 + air vents, 3 locking bar easy open doors and lockbox. These ‘self storage’ spec units are ideal for those investing in new shipping containers for UK domestic storage use.
The numerous air vents allow for air flow around the container during colder winter months or big changes in temperature. Good air flow is essential to help prevent condensation build up on the interior roof of the container, which can in turn damage valuables that are stored within. We recommend only choosing containers with a minimum of 10 vents, ideally spaced out along both side walls, the far end and also on the doors. if containers are placed next to each other, the vents on the side to not function as well, therefore having them on both ends is vital also!
Slimline factory fitted lockboxes are fitted to ensure your padlock remains safe from any intruders (as they cannot access with an angle grinder/ crow bar).
We delivered these containers using HIAB self offloading crane lorry. We hope to supply Phil with more of our new containers in the coming months.
