2 X NEW 40FT HIGH CUBES TO A FARM SITE IN COBHAM, ELMBRIDGE, SURREY

The requirements:

Steve got in touch with BOXTOR needing to purchase 1 x New 40ft (1 trip) High Cube Container for storage on his farm site in Cobham. The container needed to be externally blue in colour, with black SP coated plywood flooring. The site already had 8 existing 40ft High Cube containers, but the access to the site was fairly difficult for the 45 ft trailers of articulated HIAB lorries to turn into from the main road.

The Solution

One of our designated and trusted third party hauliers used a 40ft flatbed ‘skeleton’ trailer to be able to get the container into the narrow access of the site. Flatbed skelly trailers are 40ft in length, which enabled the truck to be able to make the tight turning. Then the tractor unit of another HIAB lorry was sent in to lift the container off and place it to the floor.

The End Result

Steve has now ordered another 40ft (1 trip) high cube container in the same colour/ spec for his site which is being delivered this week. We are again using a flatbed articulated truck to carry the container and then sending a rigid HIAB crane to lift the container off and place it adjacent to the other one.
