We understand that there might be a few questions you need the answers to prior to committing to a purchase or hire of one of our containers.

Questions And Answers

Delivering something of this size can sometimes be challenging, so we want to inform you as much as possible on the below information to ensure the whole process is as smooth as possible.

Our new containers are one trip, usually directly from our supplier in China. The box has made one journey with a shipping line to a UK port, straight into our depots. This keeps transport costs to a minimum.

Our fleet of used containers are usually between 8 and 15 years of age. These are all wind and watertight and in good, sound structural condition. They have spent the majority of their life being shipped domestically and internationally, carrying general cargo.

All our new containers come fitted with security cowls (lockboxes) as standard. We can also supply and deliver heavy duty ‘Cesar’ locks for an additional fee.
Our used containers can have lock boxes fitted at an additional fee, upon request.

All our containers are fully ‘wind and watertight’, ensuring whatever you may choose to store inside them remains dry and safe.

Our factory in China supplies our new shipping containers, which are manufactured using corten steel. The flooring is made from marine grade plywood.

Our dedicated third party hauliers who we have built a longstanding relationship with ensure your container is safely delivered to your site. We use HIAB’s (crane mounted vehicles) to transport and safely place the container on the ground of your chosen location.

Yes, if you have your own HIAB, you can collect or return your hire container whenever you like. Just let us know in advance and we will provide you with all the details that are required.

The minimum hire period is usually 1 month, subject to demand/availability.

*please note: due to the global container shortage at present, our minimum hire for standard 20’/40’ units is 6 months.

If you change your mind and would like to buy the container outright, this can be arranged, subject to container type/ availability in our fleet.
