Our new (1 trip from factory) containers are manufactured to the highest standards, in alignment with ISO container regulations. We understand a new container is a long term investment, therefore these units are built to last 20 + years.
Boxtor now manufactures its own new build containers and ships them directly into the UK from the factory in China. As a result of this, we pride ourselves in offering you the best possible purchase price.
All our new containers come with 12 vents, maximising airflow and preventing the build up of condensation.
We also add lockboxes (steel security cowl) as standard to all our new containers. This increases the security of your container.
Marine grade plywood flooring comes as standard too, as well as ‘easy open’ doors.
All our new containers are CSC plated, making them good to go for export shipping requirements.

Our Used containers are normally 8-12 years old, and sold as ‘wind and watertight’, which is suitable for storage. Many of our used containers are ex-hire fleet, so already have a lockbox fitted and have been inspected by our depots to ensure your cargo remains protected from the weather.
Our used shipping containers can also be re-plated (CSC) for export shipping requirements upon request.
We source and supply used containers of the highest quality. We will ensure you receive a fully wind and watertight container that has been inspected by our depot prior to sale. Boxtor continues to provide extremely competitive rates and outstanding levels of customer service .

See below our extensive range of both new and used shipping containers. They are available in a variety of different sizes.
The most readily available types are standard ‘General Purpose’ (Dry Van) containers. These are available in 10’, 20’ or 40’ lengths, with each type having an external width of 8’ and a height of 8’6.
20’ and 40’ High Cube containers are also supplied and the increased height of 9’6 can provide useful extra capacity. The width is the same as the standard containers at 8’.
