Boxtor was recently involved in the supply & delivery of a bespoke 20ft shipping container with several custom modifications/ additions.

A leading UK coach/ bus company enquired about the supply & delivery of a new (1 trip only) 20ft shipping container with the following additions/modifications:
Custom-made heavy-duty workbench with power sockets
We supplied a ‘made-to-order’ heavy-duty timber workbench with stronger support beams and a very thick timber wood worktop. It also came with 4 x double-gang power sockets positioned above the workbench on a wooden backboard.
Custom-made metal shelving
We worked closely with our client to ensure that the racking/shelving matched their designs. With 3 levels of shelving at the rear of the unit, 2 levels above the workbench and a single level wrapping around the left-hand side of the unit, running all the way along to the cargo doors, this was a very bespoke design.
Custom LED strip lighting
Our client requested that we position the LED strip lighting against the side walls of the unit, instead of traditionally being positioned in the centre of the ceiling of a container.
We supplied 4 x strip LED lights, with 2 x lights running per circuit to offer various levels of lighting display/ coverage.
Delivery
We delivered this container with a rigid HIAB lorry, carefully placing it on site for our client.

- Graffotherm treatment (anti-condensation foam spray)
- Shortening of a shipping container to a bespoke size/length (cut and shut)
