20ft double door (tunnel) containers are almost identical to 20ft standard containers, with the addition of an extra set of cargo doors at the far end of the container. When both sets of doors are opened you can walk through the entire container.

What are double door containers used for?
They are also sometimes used as ‘passageways’ at music events and festivals to help funnel crowds through a certain gap. Furthermore, they are a great option for companies needing to access stock stored at both ends of the container, instead of having to unload the whole unit to reach stock at the end.
New tunnels delivered to a site in Huntingdon
Boxtor recently built 20 x 20ft DD (tunnel) containers in RAL 5013 dark blue for our customer. We inserted 8mm steel partition walls in the center of each unit out our depot in Felixstowe. This therefore gave our customer the ability to offer 40 x 10ft units on their site! We delivered all twenty containers to site with HIAB lorry and flatbed articulated trucks over a 2 day period. We have the ability to deliver over thirty containers in a single day using several trucks with our dedicated team of hauliers!
