Painted externally in cobalt blue RAL 5013, these units match the existing ground level 20ft and 20ft double door units supplied by Boxtor. Multidoor containers are proving increasingly popular in the self-storage industry in both the UK and France.
What is the benefit of a multidoor (multi compartment) shipping container?
These units are ideal for self storage sites and self storage operators looking to offer a variety of unit sizes, and in turn, increase your sites turnover by increasing the number of storage units on offer without compromising on space. Smaller units are often just as popular as the larger 20ft containers (offering 160 sq ft).
Multidoors are available in a variety of door configurations, colours and specifications. In lengths of both 20ft and 40ft, these units are perfect for both ground level and upper level storage. Differing numbers of doors/ individual units means that you can choose what size of unit you want to offer your storage customers.
Multidoor Containers are ideal to run along the ends of rows, with doors facing outwards (eg 1 x 40ft multidoor can go on the end of a row of a double set of 20fts/ 20ft double doors), or 1 x 20ft multidoor can go on the end of a row of 20ft standard units. They help to ‘complete a site’ and offer smaller units at end of rows for example. They are also a great option to be placed on the external boundary fence lines / perimeters if there is less space available.
