Boxtor were thrilled to be recently involved in the supply and delivery of 12 x 20’ new standard RAL 6007 dark green shipping containers, as well as 6 x 20’ new double door (tunnel) containers to a growing self storage facility just outside the M25. All units were delivered with either wagon and drag HIAB or articulated HIAB lorries over a number of days, as per the clients request.
All units were supplied in our high specification for self storage, which includes:
- 18 air vents per container for maximum ventilation
- 3 locking bar easy opening doors with rubber handles for ease of access with clients
- PSF coated flooring for easy cleaning
- Slimline factory fitted lockboxes for shielding your padlock
Jon has had his storage business for a number of years now, and reached out to us for some pricing and guidance on several different types of unit that we supply directly into the self storage industry. More About Our Approach
My name is Dominic Coy, and I am the Sales & Operations Director here at Boxtor. At my company, we feel it is very important that we meet first hand with our self-storage clients to best understand their specific requirements. With my father having been involved in containers for over 50 years, and owning a container self storage facility for over 30 years, there is very little we have not seen as a business when it comes to shipping containers and self storage.
In this world of AI, automated responses and robotic technology, we feel that it’s the personal touch that makes us stand out, and this is something we never want to lose sight of as we grow as a business. It is more important than ever to look after your customers and knowing them personally makes a huge difference in today’s world of business. I always want to jump in the car as much as possible, get out on the road and go and see our customers and our new containers!
Purchase options
At Boxtor, we not only sell containers outright (standard purchase). We provide the following options which you may want to consider when acquiring new containers for your site:
- LEASE PURCHASE 🡪 We supply containers on 1,2,3 or 4 year lease purchase periods. This Lease/ Hire Purchase agreement allows you to finance the acqisiiton of containres through Boxtor. An agreed time period will be made at point of on hire/ delivery and you would pay us a monthly ‘hire charge’, which is billed 1 month in advance. - RENTAL, WITH OPTION TO BUY 🡪 We can supply containers on a long term rental agreements at an agreed fixed rental rate. You can then choose to offhire the container and purchase it from us at an agreed, depreciated price. *T&C’s apply – Get in touch to find out more.
