Boxtor recently continued to supply brand new 40ft high cube units to one of our existing and longstanding valued clients. We arranged the safe delivery & offloading of 6 x 40ft 1 trip (new) high cube shipping containers.
Our client uses these 360 sq ft storage units to safely hold their stock on site, including bed frames and mattresses. We have supplied over 26 of these units to date, in the same specification, colour and all in New condition.
About the Container
Supplied in our most popular colour: RAL 6007 Bottle Green, these units came with the highest specification as standard, which includes 3 locking bar ‘easy open’ door type, numerous air vents, factory fitted slimline lockboxes, PSF flooring and forklift pockets all as standard with our units.
Delivery
We delivered these units on an articulated HIAB crane lorry, alongside a number of flatbed lorries (carrying the additional containers – without cranes on them). The articulated HIAB lorry carried one 40ft container, and then unloaded the other trucks. This is a cost-effective and very efficient way of delivering numerous units to the site.
These units are available UK-wide, for both purchase and rental (both long-term and short-term hire periods) at very competitive rates.

40ft high cubes are one of the most economically viable shipping containers to purchase globally. Due to there being a huge number of these in circulation (used for carrying cargo globally by all the major shipping lines), the price is usually very competitive for something of this size and length. Shipping lines prioritise the movement of these units as they can carry a huge amount of cargo, including large palletised goods. The extra height of 9ft 6 (instead of a standard unit being 8ft 6) means they are prioritised for loading and shipment. A ‘one-way fee’ is usually offered by the shipping lines to move these units, so the price reflects this.
