The CSTA, which stands for the Container Self-Storage and Traders Association, is an international body that represents the container industry. It was founded in 2017 and has quickly grown to have over 100 members both UK and internationally based.
This organisation promotes “innovation and best-practise” in the container industry as well as offering high quality equipment and advice.
This company represents anybody involved in the transportation, supply or conversion of shipping containers as well as representing many self-storage
facilities internationally. For both areas of the industry, they offer support and advice, helping smaller companies to grow and sustain their businesses.
Boxtor - An official supplier member
We joined the CSTA as a shipping container supplier member back in early 2022. Since then, we have attended every CSTA conference and take part in each online webinar. Our 25 + years’ experience in shipping container supply means we can offer market leading insights, expertise and guidance regarding all things relating to buying or hiring a shipping container. With our self-storage site in Northampton, this also means we can offer insights and tips regarding how to run a successful self-storage business!
Benefits for members of the CSTA:
If you become a member of the CSTA, you receive the following benefits:
- Guidelines on operations.
- Code of practise for the industry.
- Accredited member scheme.
- Bulletins and industry reports.
What does this mean for our customers?
Primarily, this organisation provides help and support to businesses like Boxtor. This means that if we are receiving the best support that we can get… then its likely that you are receiving the exact same advice. The better we function as a company, the better services and experience you will receive, and for us at Boxtor this is imperative.
Furthermore, the CSTA helps to take down and stop at lot of SCAM websites who use their accreditation, which can greatly benefit a first-time buyer who might be led astray by a misleading website.
As an official supplier member, you can find our link to their website, showcasing our profile on their webpage. Be careful when choosing a new shipping container supplier that is not part of the CSTA, as it is a very reputable and trusted industry body to be part of as a supplier.
