between a NEW (1 trip) container, or a USED (wind and
watertight) container.
NEW (1 trip) 20ft standard shipping container
20ft new shipping containers are the most common size/ type of container we supply to the UK market. A fantastic option for self-storage operators and those who need a bit of extra storage capacity on site. New 20ft containers offer secure, lockable, weatherproof storage at an affordable price. Built at the factory in China and shipped ‘one way’ to the UK, our new containers are manufactured to the highest ISO standards and have the following industry leading specification:

USED 20 ft shipping containers
Used shipping containers offer good value for money. Most of our 20′ standard containers will be between 10 and 15 years old. Having spent much of their life being used for international shipping, they will be structurally sound and graded as “wind and watertight” condition. They will show clear signs of heavy usage, as they are a shipping container after all! This will include dents, imperfections and fading paintwork.

Which option do I go for?
You have two options when choosing a 20ft container. You either go for a NEW (1 trip) container built at the container factory in China. This gives you a lifetime of usage as this container has just been manufactured. 14 air vents offer maximum air flow, which helps prevent any condensation build up inside the unit. “Easy open doors” are great for those using the containers frequently, such as self-storage sites. A lockbox comes fitted as standard on all our new containers meaning the container is secure from vandals. With new (1 trip) shipping containers, you pay for what you get!
The other option is you go for a USED 20ft container. This offers good value for money if you are looking for simple, secure, wind and watertight storage options at your site. If appearance is not of importance to you, let us know and we might be able to supply you with a cheaper container.
