When you are looking to purchase or rent a 40ft container, you can choose
between a factory original NEW (1 trip) container, or a USED (wind and watertight) container. They offer the best value for money if you have the space to accommodate them on site.
Available in standard height and HIGH CUBE, with the latter being more common these days and giving you 1ft of extra height internally.
NEW (1 trip) 40' shipping container
40ft standard shipping containers are the largest container size that we offer. The sheer size of these containers mean they offer a huge amount of interior storage capacity for palletised goods, machinery, cars and bulkier items. Built at the factory in China and have been shipped ‘one way’ to the UK, these units are manufactured to the highest ISO regulations and have the following industry leading specification:

USED 40ft shipping containers
Used 40ft shipping containers offer good value for money. Most of our 40′ standard containers will be between 10 and 15 years old. Having spent much of their life being used for international shipping, they will be structurally sound and graded as “wind and watertight” condition.
They will show clear signs of heavy usage, as they are a shipping container after all! This will include dents, imperfections and fading paintwork.

Which option do I go for?
You have a variety of options to consider when choosing your 40ft container. Firstly, you must decide between standard height (dry van) or high cube (extra 1 foot in height). We recommend the high cube, as it offers you better value for money overall with extra internal cubic capacity! Then you much pick between a new or used grade container: NEW (1 trip) units built at the container factory in China. The gives you a lifetime of usage as this container has just been manufactured. Air vents offer maximum air flow, which helps to prevent any condensation build up inside the unit. A lockbox comes fitted as standard on all our new containers meaning the container is secure from vandals. With new (1 trip) containers, you pay for what you get!
The other option is you go for a USED container. This offers good value for money if you are looking for simple, secure, wind and watertight storage options at your site. If appearance is not of importance to you, let us know and we might be able to supply you with a cheaper container. *If ordering new containers in bulk, you can choose your own paint colour/ container spec
