Containers for Hire
Boxtor operates an extensive fleet of rental containers to cover our nationwide customer base. A wide range of sizes are available to hire today, including 10’, 20’ and 40’ standard shipping containers. We can also provide specialist equipment on both short and long term hires, including open tops, flat racks and temperature controlled containers (reefers).
At Boxtor, we understand that you might only need your rental container for a short hire period. Our minimum hire duration is 12 weeks for our standard hire containers. For specialist equipment, the hire period can be even shorter, subject to availability and demand.

HIRE DURATION?
- NEW & USED SHIPPING CONTAINERS AVAILABLE ON BOTH SHORT TERM (1- 6 MONTH) AND LONG TERM (6 MONTH +) HIRES.
We always ensure our rental storage containers are swept out, steam cleaned and in the best condition prior to a new rental commencing.
We will try to send out new/ nearly new shipping container to customers who require a long term hire whenever possible (12 months +).
We provide containers on long term hires to schools, theatres, film sets, construction sites, festivals, self storage facilities, haulage firms and car manufacturers to name a few.
As with our containers for sale, it is not necessary to have lifting facilities at the storage premises as all our rental containers can be delivered by self-off-loading crane lorry (HIAB).
Transport directly to your site can normally be arranged within a couple of working days from the order date.

See below our extensive range of both new and used shipping containers. They are available in a variety of different sizes.
The most readily available types are standard ‘General Purpose’ (Dry Van) containers. These are available in 10’, 20’ or 40’ lengths, with each type having an external width of 8’ and a height of 8’6.
20’ and 40’ High Cube containers are also supplied and the increased height of 9’6 can provide useful extra capacity. The width is the same as the standard containers at 8’.
