STANDARD SHIPPING CONTAINERS
The most readily available types of standard shipping container are General Purpose (Dry Vans). These are available in 10’, 20’ or 40’ lengths, with each container type having an external width of 8’ and a height of 8’6”.
20’ and 40’ High Cube shipping containers are also available and the increased height of 9’6” can provide useful extra capacity. The width is the same as the standard containers at 8’.
10’ Standard Shipping Container
Half the size of a 20ft container, but still packing all the great features. When your site is constrained by space, these are great options to store your goods inside.
Often used on self storage sites, construction sites, gardening centres, and for offshore marine activity use. Our new, ISO 10’ shipping containers come with multiple air vents, a variety of door choices and a slimline lockbox.
These containers can be delivered on a rigid HIAB lorry.
Up to 4 x 10fts can be delivered on 1 lorry, keeping delivery costs at a minimum.
20’ Standard Shipping Container
The most popular size of shipping container. for both purchase and rental. When it comes domestic storage, these are the go to.
Whether you are using it as a self storage facility for household furniture, gardening equipment, or machinery on site, our wind and watertight 20’ shipping containers come with multiple air vents, 3 locking bar ‘easy open’ doors, PSF coated flooring and factory fitted lockboxes.
These containers can be delivered in pairs or on their own.
40’ Standard Shipping Container
These are the largest containers that we provide for both rental and purchase.
Used for either storage on site, domestic transportation of goods/ machinery, and most commonly, for international shipping. Our 40’ containers come in a variety of colours, age profiles and specifications.
As well as the standard uses listed above, 40’ containers make a great option for conversion projects. The possibilities really are endless for a unit of this type. Enquire today to see if we can facilitate your modification requirements.
20’ High Cube
20’ High Cubes are the same length as our 20’ Standard shipping containers, but they have an extra 1 ft of height. This gives you extra loading clearance and therefore additional capacity for storage. Often used to transport slightly bulkier goods, when a standard 20’ won’t quite manage the job. Our 20’ High Cubes come in a variety of colours, age profiles and specifications.
40’ High Cube
40’ High Cubes are the largest containers that we provide for both rental and purchase. The same length as a 40’ container, but with an extra 1 ft of height, the extra clearance gives you that extra capacity which some may require when using a forklift to load pallets etc.
Used mainly for domestic transportation of goods/ machinery, and most commonly, for international shipping. Our 40’ High Cube containers come in a variety of colours, age profiles and specifications.
CONTAINER TYPES - SPECIALISED EQUIPMENT
OPEN TOP SHIPPING CONTAINERS
Our open top containers are part of our specialised equipment range. They are ideal for transporting oversized and overheight cargo. If you need to ship bulk freight that simply won’t fit into a standard shipping container, then half height and full height open top containers are the perfect solution.
Manufactured using the same materials and specifications as a standard 20’ and 40’ container, ‘open tops’ have the metal roof removed and replaced with a tarpaulin cover, to ensure it remains watertight. The tarpaulin canvas roof offers extra height and capacity inside the container for a variety of different shipping uses.
Ideal for loading and unloading via crane or ‘crab’ bucket overhead, or via the steel container doors at one end. Open Top containers normally have a moving or detachable top frame above the doors.They are often used to transport machinery, timber, steel and scrap metal to name a few!

20’ OPEN SIDE SHIPPING CONTAINER
Open Siders or ‘Full side access’ containers incorporate not only standard cargo doors, but multiple cargo doors down one side of the container that open fully to allow unobstructed access.
These 20’ specialised containers are a fantastic option when you need to access stored goods quickly, without having to empty the container.
Ideal for loading pallets and bulky/ awkward sized items, these side opening containers provide the best solution for easy access to your stored goods.
They are also a very popular option nowadays for use as pop up bars, food outlets, retails outlets at sports events and festivals and mobile ticketing/ medical units.
REFRIGERATED SHIPPING CONTAINERS (REEFERS)
Our range of new and used refrigerated containers are available for both sale and long term hire.
Reefers are ideal for cold storage, including the safe and legal transportation of perishables, frozen goods and pharmaceutical products.
They come in 20’ and 40’ lengths and are delivered directly to your site. We can provide both operating and non operating reefers.
Thermostatically controlled and with a temperature range from -25 to + 20 degrees celsius. You can maintain a variable temperature 24/7 of your goods.These versatile specialist shipping containers are the best way to transport temperature sensitive freight.
CABINS FOR HIRE
We can supply businesses and individuals with unique, high quality portable offices, cabins (canteen or standard office type) and portable loos. These units can be hired on both short and long term rental contracts through our suppliers.Our site offices/ welfare units are available for sale and hire in open plan format or a 50/50 split, with an internal partition wall
